Oh dear - sounds knacked I'm afraid. I have one, and without the lead it works fine. When you turn it on the blue light comes on on the front, and it plays audio through the speaker, etc...

It works fine plugged into the mains, but it just won't charge, as soon as I take the lead out, it turns off.

Good sound but mine has some interference - a regular crackling sound which is noticeable at zero or low volume. Quite irritating. Using with a Sony Z1 it's fine until the screen is activated.
Edit - I had NFC on, turning it off cured the problem :smiley:

Anyone else get a faulty one? I used mine with my phone for about an hour, then the sound cut out and now it doesn't work at all. Charged it and checked the aux cable it works on another device, the light is on but no sound.

tried my android phone usb charger and it charged fine.
my phones charger lets you change the lead, so use the one that came with this
