Is the discount code on their FB account not working for anyone else?

great price just wish they would optimize it better for amd cpus

Cpus, Lol. You mean gpus and they perform well enough. Especially considering this game was designed with x box one and ps4 which both have amd hardware.
Great game BTW. Runs amazing at 4k with my AMD Fury X card.

no I mean cpu, it's a very heavy cpu intensive game, my 950 gpu handles it fine but the cpu intensive tasks really bog the game down. they are aware of it and are trying to fix it.

Make a point to not buy (and alternatively acquire) any game with denuvo.

Could be a boring year for you, more and more games seem to be using it these days.

I don't understand why, it makes it harder for people to crack the game.
Why shouldn't developers have the option to make their game uncrackable?

Link please. I gave looked and seen no specific amd cpu issues. I am genuinely interested if you have information on it.

To get the code to work I had to create an account with CDKeys rather than just checking straight out with paypal.

The code is for logged in customers only, had the issue last week.
It does tell you on the code page, not there fault if you guys fail at reading. Granted, not he biggest text ever. But when a code fails I often read the little * bit at the bottom, common sense really.

Didn't know this, well I'm sure they changed it recently since I've been buying with CDKeys before and they didn't ask for account for adding codes, use to just checkout with Paypal like others.

Very short storyline compared to the 2nd one, but still a lot of fun.

bought it at this price last time, but unfortunately I haven't got a graphics card powerful enough to cope so i can't play it until I can get one.

Don't worry it'll be a great year for gaming, I and cracking. Trust me. I do mostly buy the games in sales anyways.

Good price but a disappointing game. The main taking over towns gets boring quickly. The game runs like crap, I have a 290x and an overclocked i5 quad core and I'm seeing regular dips to 30fps with nowhere near maxed settings - presumably down to bad gameworks code or poorly optimised physx as it's mostly when things blow up.
Though they've improved load times are still awful, 1-2 minutes from hitting play in steam to being in game, and that's running from an SSD which is separate to my OS SSD.
They dropped the ball on this one in my opinion.
It's a shame as the basic core gameplay is good but is not much of an improvement on the last one.

I picked this up last time it was this sort of price (pre-order), 148hours played till i started to get bored, just wish the world was bigger. performance was a bit ropey at the start, but the patch back in november(?) sorted out the frame pacing issues my 4gb 270x was having, game runs with nearly everything maxed and stays consistently in the 50-60 range, dropping to high 30s when action gets really manic.
A quick browse of the steam forums shows a lot of people with identical systems having frame rates that are worlds apart, some people are getting respectable performance on mid range gpus and others are struggling with flagship devices.
i know it's probably still early days yet, but anyone know of a cheap GFX card this will run on ?
most of the cards i've seen are in the £80 to £100 area.

How cheap? Because £80-100 is VERY cheap for a GPU.
HankHandsome
22 Jan 16#38
that's the thing - £80 - £100 is VERY expensive for me
I fully understand it's going to be a while, if ever, before i get one so i'd ideally be looking at second hand at best i suppose. but anything under £80 quid would be a start !

You need to factor in performance per pound otherwise you'll end up wasting what little you have on something crap.
Personally for under £80 I'd try and find a used 750 Ti on eBay. That should get you a decent framerate in this game.

Just bought last night and getting solid 60fps 1080p on max settings except AA on a old i5 2500k and GTX 970. Just in case anyone is concerned about performance on a similar setup.
Loading times are fine in game from am SSD. Seems to be a bit of a delay on the title screen when it logs you in but no more than 30 secs.

MAY have plumped for this if the deal had lasted through the work day. Got home and now £21.99. Think my price for this is <£15 now.
