Spend more and get a better one, I have a Jaybe bed but wouldn't want this cheap one. Buy cheap, buy twice.

reviews a bit off-putting "This bed has proved to be a disaster. It is not fit for purpose. I promise you it is rubbish"

Still very vague though, that's the problem with some reviews, they slate the product but don't really give people an idea why. Amazon reviews are good for a laugh, especially people who rate the product 1 star because of reasons completely irrelevant to the product.

Thats always be true but unfortunately expensive doesn't seem to last anymore either. Nothing is made like it used to be.

British made with a Lifetime Frame Guarantee.
Unfortunately British made doesn't resonate quality anymore, a real shame as Britain used to be one of the best but not anymore.

We bought this bed for our daughter to sleep over on at her gran's. £34 delivered is probably a fair price, but it's only suitable for very occasional usage. It's like sleeping on the floor, only higher up.

Interesting. As I don't think my visitors necessarily need to be "higher up", I can save £34 and let them sleep on the floor :P
I know my floor doesn't have a lifetime frame guarantee, but I'm willing to take that risk!

A decent pile carpet would probably be more comfortable.

Frame is fine, the mattress is non-existent. Decent price though.

Just to add to the comments above, this bed is cheap but it is not comfortable. I have put extra duvets on top of the mattress and still it is only usable in emergencies in my opinion. Frame is fine, just a wafer thin mattress.

Thishere is cheaper and, despite sleeping on the floor, will give a better nights sleep. ( altho' Thermarest FTW IMO)

We have this in our babies room for the times, especially in the early days, when we've had to sleep alongside her. At first it felt quite uncomfortable but, to be honest, we just got used to it after a couple of nights. Things were helped by putting a quilt under the mattress. Now I could quite happily sleep on it and get a decent night's kip. It is just different to your normal bed. The slats will snap if you put pressure unnecessarily on them (as I did one day by kneeling on a single slat - but the maker sent me a couple of spares when I emailed them and owned up to my stupidity - good customer service) but if you're careful about getting up and down from the bed it is fine.

Not worth £35 I'm afraid. Bensons for beds have a demo with all three types of matrices and they are not very good. Any more usage then once a month it's not going to last long.
