Good price for an Apple phone. If you wanted to double the memory to 32GB It's £27.50 PER MONTH. Madness.

Is this a reliable company to buy contract phone?

ID Mobile is done via CPW (CarPhoneWarehouse), so I'm guessing it's reliable enough?, lol.
So its up to you ..... lol.

Hmmmm, may well just be over-eager AV but the site when clicking through to "buy" is ringing alarm bells - as much as the company might well be obviously legit I'm not sure at this time the site is trustworthy. Thanks anyway though.

Of course it's trustworthy - it's a company owned by carphone warehouse.

When I go to the link the cheapest 12 month contract for this phone is £23.50 a month? £17.50 a month for 24 months?

The company wasn't in question, the possibility of the site's security having been compromised was - as much as they may well use Norton, I still think that sort of thing can happen.

You could say that about any company & their website. Even their data storage. Your point is invalid.

Thanks OP - ordered mine about 30 mins after you posted, and I've just had a dispatch email
The customer service provided by ID who passed me straight on to CW (ID have no sales, it's all done through CW) was shocking. The first rep cut me off after he refused to listen to what I had to say - he told me to ring ID, which I had done and ended up being put straight through to Carphone Warehouse - and the other one simply said "we can't match this" and didn't even attempt to keep me on the line!
Clearly, they don't want my custom...

This deal is now back up on ID, but it is now unfortunately a 2 year contract.
Had the original deal in my basket but wanted to talk to my wife before doing it. Should have just got on and ordered it really, given how cheap a one year contract for it is!

Looks like they are honouring it for the people that got it in time, happy days

Yeah, except the bit that makes it valid is the bit where I said my AV was telling me something was up with the site - not every site does that.
Reading, such an underrated experience.

Will the iPhone lock to first sim card inserted?
jamesb1238 to bpcampbell
19 Jan 16#39
yep. you can unlock after 6 months of having the ID mobile sim in. if you put another providers in they may not ever unlock. It's possible you may be able to use three sim cards in it if it locks to ID

Does their iPhones work with 3 SIM card? Has anyone who got iPhone with pay monthly contract from iDmobile tried Three SIM card? Or any other network SIM card, eg. Vodafone, o2, EE? Thanks

I called into Carphone warehouse today, they said It will lock to the first SIM card that's inserted.
It should work with a Three sim.
