Was £7 so not a big reduction, but I think it's a great price for a nice toy. Good quality and makes a change from all the plastic stuff. (There are reviews at Tesco Direct though it's out of stock there). I got it at Christmas for my LO, who likes it.
I've just bought the Carousel wooden stacking train in store (http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=270484278, not full picture of toy but I think it's the right one) for £7.50, think was £15. Looks nice though I haven't opened it yet. (http://www.tesco.com/direct/carousel-build-and-stack-train-new/732-0309.prd?skuId=732-0309&pageLevel=sku)
hammering bench: judging by reviews it compares well to pricier versions by other brands. The shapes aren't perfect (some go in too easily, some stiffer) but reviews suggest this happens in other versions anyway. The shapes and hammer are nice to hold (fun can be had even before the suggested age 18+, supervise because of hammer though). Doubles as a shape sorter!

Heat added. We had this and agree with the reviews about the shapes. The stacking train is lovely - although I find the pieces deposited all over the house - lol!
