Instantly available copy of Alien Isolation with the next (February) humble monthly bundle. Of course the £8.19 (ish) includes the games you'll get come February. As one of the few who perhaps don't own this it seems like a reasonable deal.

Do you guys just subscribe then cancel, or do you wait till the February bundle is released then cancel the subscription?

You pay your £8 up front for the bundle, at which point you can redeem your alien isolation copy. Once February the first comes around, you get access to the other games (having already paid for them).

They aren't all games that haven't been bundled. Saints Row 4 from the first monthly bundle had previously been bundled. The wording means some games can be new to bundle and some can be previously bundled.
I had heard wrongly that Alien was going to be in this months so I re-subbed after skipping December. Actually happy with the contents as they are all games I didn't have including a couple I had my eye on. Seems worth it to sub early for Alien as it goes for ~£6 so it is only a couple of quid to take the risk with the rest of the bundle. Think this month will be the last though, I've got enough games now...

I agree the main Humble Bundle has been repetitive, but with the monthly bundle it is guaranteed to be no game's they have previously bundled.

To be fair that's only £2.50 less for 5 fewer games and the monthly bundles have actually had reasonable content so far (even if they use a crappy model).

Or just buy it for £5.58 and don't lock yourself in to buying some other games that you might already own. Humble bundles have been awfully repetitive of late.

Nice to see some better offerings with January's bundle. As always, these will be a bit of a gamble, but heat from me.
Also, if anyone ends up with any spare keys from this or elsewhere, donations for my weekly giveaway are always welcome.

Yeah, a bit puzzled by this. I subscribe to the monthly bundle, so does that mean I need to pay right now to get Isolation? Seems strange if that's the case, as I have a recurring payment to them set up.

Yeh I thought much the same. They've done it on all (I think?) the previous monthly bundles. Get the cash in early I guess.
Chances are it'll be included with the monthly bundle regardless. Depends how patient you are

You can pay now and get it to play instantly or wait for the montly bundle unlock - it's your choice. I decided to get it now instead of waiting a month.
