Looking for an Imac and this is one of the cheapest (new) at the moment. It is an older model and not a 4K model. But still nice.

If that's one of those retro spinning HD things I'd avoid it like the plague. Horrible to have a nice machine like that crippled by such a noticeable bottleneck.
Find a fusion drive version. No point throwing cash around.

I agree it's a ridiculous bottleneck but I'm not impressed by the Fusion drives in the latest iMacs either.

I was going to heat until I saw the processor. God no, my 2006 PC was running a better processor than this.

I'd be more worried about the Intel hd 5000 and processor being more "retro" in these models. However I just realised I paid more for an iPad pro at John Lewis. At least it has 3 years warranty but why do I feel it wasn't the best deal?

good price for a Mac, terrible price if you got the same spec PC. I guess the price is justified for having a half eaten apple stuck on the front....maybe I just don't understand but you could get a vastly superior machine for this price.
I wouldn't,t bother with that processor, my previous Mac mini had dual core I5 drove me mad it was so slow compared to my previous quad core pc, and was quickly replaced .... With an iMac , get one with fusion drive it's hard to change anything on newer models so make sure you future proof it and get the best spec you can

Great price, great machines. You'll also find out why it's worth it in 3 years time and it actually has some resale value. Don't be confused with numbers in the specs. You'll find it runs better/quicker than most mainstream Windows terminals.

£799 for a 128GB model. But it's an apple first gen product, which is why I'm on pins and needles as to whether it was a pod idea. Also got the apple watch which is another Apple first ten debacle. Ugh.

I got that model too but with only 2 year warranty from KRCS for £735. I've got the pencil but haven't used it yet.
