Have bought these in the past and they are really good quality, albeit the £5 'non-gloss' ones (which are still available as well). Saw these gloss versions in Glasgow store yesterday and they look really good, deceptively nice considering their price. Ideal for spare room.

Quite possibly one of the only things in Ikea that doesn't take forever to put together too

What about the table?
Yep - the dimensions are within tolerance for screwing 19" rack mount between the legs, I never put anything other than a few switches mind as it doesn't have the depth or strength for larger units (1Us half depth are fine!)

ikeas stuff is the easiest of all the flatpacks i have made, shame its miles away from me else id get their stuff more often!
the veneer on these things is fairly easily damaged but they are basically a disposable item so not a problem

Looks nice and affordable but shame there are no Ikeas nearby and delivery is as much as the item itself.

These are not "high" quality as made of cardboard and painted thinly, luckily if they last long at tall, very disposable as just cheap trash.

Great for kids table with the kids plastic chairs that they sell. They last a few years with the kids flipping them over and bashing them.
Bargain.

Also these can be used as 19" rack mounts for servers, routers or music / recording equipments without any modifications.

Not the best quality but fine if you're not rough.
We've had one for five years and still going strong

He is correct though - Ikea the masters of removing as much wood from a product as is possible!

It's amazing what junk they can sell these days if you stick the rite label on it , made of Particleboard, Fibreboard, ABS plastic and Filling material Paper goodness. They revolutionized the furniture business by creating disposable :smirk: furniture as if the world had a bottomless refuge dump.
