SAVE 26% on a very good spec Smartphone for guys that wish to have a top spec solid phone however do not wish to spend a considerable amount on it.
OK it's not an iPhone or Samsung. It does have fantastic build quality. It comes with 2.0ghz 8core processor 3ghz ram and 16gb space plus in addition to this you can use your own memory card to expand this further by upto 128gb. This phone also accepts two sim cards :)

The phone is good. I got it on the 12 month id deal. battery life is alright but not exceptional, camera is much better than any other I have tried. Take a low light photo with the p8 then with the iphone 6 and the p8 will be way better 9 photos out of 10.
I haven't used the LG but if it is top of the range for a similar price I can't imagine the p8 being better than the LG.
I have just got the Huawei p8 Lite version, and I love it. Its maybe not as fast as some smartphones but its fast enough for me for what I do.I don't play games nor stream music etc, just phone calls texting and facebook occasionally.
I compared it to both the Samsung S4 and the S5, and the p8 Lite sits somewhere inbetween by my reckoning, and at less than half the price I'm happy with it.

All the phones are dual sim, you might have to change the firmware to enable but hardware on these phones are globally the same

OK so built quality is good - metal body. Spec is OK as well however the biggest killer is that this phone is slippery a lot and just feel uncomfortable in your hands... and it isn't dual sim its sim plus micro SD.

great phone the only phone to have an active second sim meaning you can actually receive calls on both numbers.
Passive Dual sims simply send you at SMS letting you know you missed a call on the passive sim, this will connect or bleep letting you know a call is waiting.
Excellent for BYOD when you want to keep your personal mobile number seperate from work but dont want to carry 2 phones....hot.

Xiaomi and Meizu also have both sims active to send / receive txt's and make / receive calls on either sim.

Just tried asking for a refund on chat:
"I'm afraid we can't price match with the lightning deal price, however, I can create a returns label for you to return the product back to us for a full refund and you can place a new order right away if you want. I request you to accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused because of this. If I issue a price match with the lightning deal, it will be a breach of amazon's company policy.
According to our policy, if the product is sold and dispatched by Amazon and the price of the product reduces within seven days from the delivery date, we can issue the price difference to the customer as a partial refund. In this case, you are eligible for a partial refund. However, it should not be in lightning deal."
My honor 7 was received over 7 days ago so I probably wouldn't have been eligible for a refund anyway right?

Yep, I managed to buy the Honor 7 this morning for 175. Over the moon with that price, it started at 10:00am the first half hour was on sale for Amazon Prime members only, the stock level was at 43% at 10:30am as soon as the timer counted down and the remaining stock was made available to purchase I hit the add to basket and when straight to the check. By the time I confirmed the order, payment and delivery address and continued shopping the lightning deal had expired.

Worth looking on the xda developer site, I have a p8 lite from cpw that wasn't dual sim but it is now, quite simple to change it using a tiny update.

Open box item. Good phone though and agree dual sim is the future now they are starting to be available on the UK.

Dual sim has been the norm in Asia, Mid & Far East for years.
Just seems to be an issue in the West.
Good to see some dual sim phones creeping through to us here in the UK!

Talking on the phone and streaming via 4g or WiFi are the things that cane the battery. Not just sitting there reading face bokk.

Yes easily a day.. Ill elaborate... Phone normally comes off charge between 5 and 6 then walk or bus to gym either streaming via tune in or mp3 for the journey while face booking or hot uking then the same at the gym and then the journey back so by 8 am I've already been canning it for around 2 hours. By lunch time I've normally got 1 hour of phone calls and two hours of screen on time plus what ever streaming I've used..... End of day is probably between 8 pm and 10 pm with three hours of talking which I doubt most other people have and normally between 3 and 5 hours screen on time plus at least 5 hours streaming... Audio I hasten to add..... That gentle men in my book is a fairly decent battery.

It was 175 today as a lighting deal. If you ask live chat you could get a refund for the difference. They gave me one.

This or the One Plus X? My 2 year old LG G2 is ding some very weird stuff with the screen. Believe the problem may be with the battery which could be swollen...have also heard about that Spanish phone the BQ Aquaris M5...they have allegedly a great customer service.

If I had the option between this and a LG G4, I'd probably go the G4 which is about £30/40 more..Never going to beat the swappable battery.

Yeah, seems highly unlikely to be the dual sim version as it's from Carphone Warehouse/PC World/Currys
