I bought this from carphonewarehouse a couple of weeks ago.£99.99 plus a £10 vodafone bundle, the advantage being it is not locked. Great phone. Love it.

1280x720, isn't the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 a better buy?

I'd say yes, but some people find the 5.5" screen too big.

The battery is 2200mah, which is bigger than some others.

Nope. Got one from CPW a few weeks ago and its fine, lasts me two or three days between charges just now.
I know this one is a tenner cheaper, but the CPW is a better deal as theirs are unlocked and are straight factory versions without the bloatware added on by the networks. Unless of course you want a handset to use on Vodaphone only...

Their Chat said any voda apps and branding can easily be removed if you don't want them but tbh I've heard that before and it hasn't been true. I'd also be interested in anyone who has one of these to see what voda specific apps and branding are present and how easy to remove.

On Banggood's site it is selling at between £204.33 ~ 211.47, and I think I paid about £145 roundabout Christmas time.

I thought the same, but when I actually held one, it was far too big to use comfortably :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, shame. i'd need the microsd.. some mnfrs (samsung) have managed to fit both in one slot.

It is a choice of memory card or 2nd sim, I find 16GB enough for me and use a works sim in the 2nd slot to save carrying a 2nd phone.

I have made mine dual sim using a method on XDA developers site, it says quick method but I assure you it's not.
No it is unlocked and they just give you the vodafone sim so you could sell it if you wanted. They don't put the sim in for you. I am with giffgaff.

XDA Developers
but
- not waterproof
- worse battery life, slower charge
- worse software and support
- worse screen and speaker
However yes, the extra 1gb of ram is a major plus.
