watch out for the free parts,you have to get the labour from hotpoint as well as the parts,labour works out expensive,cheaper to buy a 5 year warranty instead

was quoted £119 for the labour on this sh** machine, it will only last for 12 months.

SoGA should protect though using your consumer rights is easier said than done typically (though I just got Tesco to stump up £120 to repair a 2.5 yo Panasonic TV - it'll cost me £10 for the faulty component).

our less then 2 year old hotpoint recently died and the 5 years parts warranty is a waste of time as it costs a minimum of £109 quid for a one off repair.
Whats annoying is I know the PCB is at fault but they wont send you the parts to fit yourself.
