Not often you see 100ml of COLGATE TOTAL for £1. Usually it's 75ml of a Colgate Total version or 100ml of a Colgate no-name version.
TOTAL is the best formula.
Eg to see what I mean, the major supermarkets never do better than 2x 100ml of a Colgate Total product for less than £3.
Before any wise guy says you can always get Colgate Total 100ml in Poundland etc - check your facts, it won't be 100ml of a TOTAL product, it'll either be 100ml of a no-name Colgate product or 75ml of a TOTAL product.

For years I have bought it from the big poundshop chains. It is 100ml, 1450ppm Colgate Total (both the current tube in my bathroom and the previous empty that just got put into recycling). I have checked my facts and am a guy. Good to know that you think I am very wise

Yes, Sheffield Castle market - Poundshop - COLGATE TOTAL Mint for £1 (there was another Total 100ml flavour) . I was surprised myself that it was 100ml and was reading the small print last Friday when I saw it. It is made in China for Middle East- North Africa market. The small print was so small I couldn't read what it contains (I bought reading glasses for spare parts instead which was my main trip to poundshop) There were various 75ml versions as well and those were made in EU for Ireland/UK .
I know that the same product made by the same company in different countries can contain different ingredients. (e.g. Coca Cola - different type of sweetener used)
I didn't buy it in the end.

Contains triclosan. I wouldn't use it, but google "triclosan" and make up your own mind.
I may be wrong?, but, looks to me like there may be tooooo many 'stuffs' we're CONSTANTLY being kept in the dark about ..... and not just on this thang either? (whatever this Antibacterial Agent in the long run is meant, &/or is meant not to do, etc, etc, etc ..... )

So does the UK spec'd product. Doesn't sound like it's harmful

Ignoring all the arguments, the big picture is that good money can be saved by buying all your toiletries in something like a Home Bargains or a Saver.

Hmm, I've looked at these deals before & many have not contained the same amount of fluoride in them. The UK version contains 1450 ppm F where as some of the cheap versions only contain 1050 ppm F due to being sourced elsewhere.

Brand of toothpaste doesn't really matter. Though fluoride is recommended. As long as you brush & floss your teeth.
