Hisense are from China. They are now the 4th largest TV manufacturer in the world and have recently purchased Sharp's American operations.
This will be the year that you hear A LOT more about this brand because they are causing waves in the UK market and have also just announced their sponsorship of the Euro 2016.

How this compare to Samsung 6400

the 6400 is a trusted screen and has been well received across 2015, plainly, this Hisense has newer, better tech, I had to choose between this and the Samsung 6800, I went with the hisense just because of the reviews being better, it having better technology & the price being that much cheaper, it's at home now just haven't had the chance to see it yet haha.

CES show has just finished and Hisense have a heap of cheaper and more-improved models hitting the shelves in April worldwide.
What this means is, better bargains for the current range are on the way as they look to clear stock - or you might want the newer model for not much cost difference.
