Poundland was forced to close january.A "heavy rodent infestation" closed a discount store in the Southside shopping centre on Friday after an inspection found droppings and "gnawed food" in customer areas.
June 2012: Poundland fined after Croydon store found infested with mice
A hygiene emergency prohibition report on the front of the store revealed that rodents had been found through food areas of the shop.
The report stated that the shop had been closed because: "A heavy rodent infestation causing health risks is present throughout the food areas, in the customer service areas, and warehouse storage areas: gnawed foods, droppings on food and non-contact food areas." Poundland warned of product recall because of 'possible health risk' is not right for ten pence cheap to put your health t Risk :man:

tell me a ational grocery store that hasn't been fined at one time or another? tesco and Asda certainly have. most poundlands shop outlets are not owned by the company but are leased on long term contracts with big UK wide landlords who are responsible for the buildings

I'm thinking I wish I hadn't bothered posting as such stupid comments from some people (not the people who said repost i appreciate that unwittingly I've reposted a previous post) . A Heinz baked bean is a still a Heinz baked bean when all is said and done and at 25p a can I don't really think you can go wrong! haters will always hate they say!

Life is not always clear cut :smirk: read buckmr2's response. S/he clearly checked before responding.
Thanks, I wanted to read the comments (always useful for info like beans to tomato ratio as per the link you provided  ) and struggled to find any deals with the search function, as I hadn't gone back far enough. Cheers.

They taste fine I don't know where they get it tastes different from lol, there's the same amount of beans in these 300g tins as the 400g tins cos we noticed there's a lot of sauce at the top of the 400g tins.

Buy as many as you can, and take to your nearest food bank. This sort of item is in constant demand.

Aren't they the same taste? I dispise tomato sauce so can't stand anything like baked beans like this, but the people in our household haven't complained and trust me, we notice differences in foods ALL THE TIME...I can't be bothered getting out of bed to check, but where are they from??
