I'm probably being dumb here, but is that cable HDMI to Micro USB or HDMI to Micro HDMI? The header and description contradict one another!

Great find jp3456. Was shopping around for one of these. Got 2 of these today, and they work perfectly with my Hudl. Turned my spare TV into a smart TV. Very happy, thanks.

Lol that made me laugh
They realised they had screwed up with those leads and probably had 100,000's of them in stock nationwide, so they eventually tried to re-brand it!
HDMI to MICRO USB?! Does that even do anything and is there a single appliance in the world that needs such a lead?
Honest question....

Good deal (just check when you buy them they are micro hdmi I bought one last year to find that the package had been mislabelled and the lead was a hdmi to mini usb)

When i returned it the staff in the shop were totally baffled, didn't believe me and looked at me like i was mental!

The Linx tablets would use a Micro HDMI-HDMI cable - has the OP got their description wrong?
Also, best to keep the receipt for Poundland purchases (especially electronics) and you'll be fine. But it is a pain returning items.
Assuming the OP hasn't made a mistake, I'm guessing it looks like this (image sneakily nicked from Gumtree)

The cable looks exactly the same as the one shown in picture except for the brand name is connect it. The cable does work with my Asus tablet and connects to the tv with good picture quality it just does not come with the well know brand name. The packaging is cheep and flimsy probably so they can sell it cheaper but the product inside is well made.

Don't know how they are still getting away with selling these I was conned into buying one last year MICRO USB TO HDMI--NOT MICRO HDMI
They have both been in stock in the Nottingham stores a few times over the last year. Not always the same brand each time..

I was caught out last year as well, check the socket is what it claims to be.
As per usual for £1 it was not worth the hassle of taking it back. Lots of their stuff does not work ,etc and they make their money on people who dont bother to take it back.
Having said that it is horses for courses as if you get what you want and it works then you can bag a bargain.

It's quite an achievement to find something even poorer quality than Belkin.

CONGRATULATIONS first Belkin/Poundland deal this year.
Thank the lord (Master yoda) that the Now TV boxes at Tesco have stopped but curse the Sith that people still post these.
