looks like these sainsburys deals are varying between stores never seen this at all in my local earlier but did see and get several ps3/360 ones.

Awesome game, and an absolute steal for this price. No matter how many games come out, I still find myself going back to the multiplayer on this game, so brutal and competitive. Nothing is the same.

Read on here its supposed to be buggy and laggy and iirc drops to 30fps? Uh dunno but didn't sound good. Gears 3 online is just about the only game I play too.

Well worth this price and if you are quick that will include the freebie games on backwards compatible (gears 1, 2, 3 and judgement), but there is only a few days left to register

What do you need to do to activate the BC content? Is it as simple as playing once online? How do you access the previous titles please?

Not for this game no, mp doesn't even come close gow3, might be worth it just to get the free gow3 bc digital game so you can play it on the newer xb1

What's multiplayer like? Is it like the 360 one I mean like the 1st version or like the gow 2 and 3?

The multiplayer is from Gears of War 1. Only maps from this game (including the originally PC exclusive maps). There are slight modifications, such as new games modes and very minor changes to gameplay mechanics and the HUD. All in all its a very close replica of the original one. If you're looking for the multiplayer of 2 or 3, you'll be disappointed

I may have to pick this up even though I have all of the Gears Of War Games already. I only ever got round to finishing the original though, but what an incredible experience it was at the time! :smiley:

Managed to grab a copy from Sainsburys Washington, had to ask because there was none on the shelf.

I just managed to pick up a copy in Sainsbury's Winterstoke Rd in Bristol. This was the last store in Bristol to have any and I can confirm that as of 16:00 today they still had one copy left at £9.99 if anyone is depserate to get one and claim the free Gear of War Collection for XBox 360 before that offer expires at the end of tomorrow.

Edit: I should have said that it wasn't on the shelf and I had to ask a member of staff to look in the back. Both copies were there.

Played on xbox live before December 31st but i havent received any codes for the other gow games.

Just got a copy in store in Livingston and they still have more left.

Got my codes today for all the other Gears Of Wars

Can someone please confirm they got GOW: Ultimate Edition after 1st January 2016 and got the codes for the rest of the games?

I got an Xbox One, and really really want to play Gears of War 3 and Judgment.
