as an xbox one and PS4 owner, I reckon Xbox are far better and fairer at their sales, they're even more relaxed about buying from other regions (if only I could be bothered to try and figure that out)
The whole world gets the same discount be it 10% or 50% on the same games.
PSN in the U.S. get great sales prices and monthly flash sales with even better deals and we get this rubbish??

Most of these games can be picked up for much less in disc form. I have no idea why people get digital versions of anything, it's just laziness having to get off their butts and change the disc. Very rarely do they have any good deals on the UK store...

8 Jan 16#69
Well people are moving to PS4 faster than ever and there will be a time Sony won't be able to justify keeping it on just so a few people can redownload their games. Also PS Now is awful with lag and bad image quality and could be the death of console gaming. Do not support that.
Illusionary
8 Jan 16#68
Nah, that won't be happening any time soon, don't worry. The PS3 still has a very active user base and, if you need further evidence, consider that PS Now is only fairly recently launched and the catalogue comprises solely PS3 games.
Indeed - while there's the odd exception, I can't disagree that generally the EU sales suffer badly in comparison to those for the US. :disappointed:

The real problem is the flash sales for us/canada stores are so good that it make ours look terrible. I wouldn't consider buying anything off the UK store any more. I just wait either for physical or a flash sale on Can/USA.
Sony are letting the UK down pretty badly.
darkspace100
8 Jan 16#65
I don't trust digital. Sony could ban you or shut down PSN at any time and your screwed from your purchases. I can see them shutting off servers for PS3 soon so how will you redownload all the games you bought? Don't get me wrong i have a few downloaded games myself but I prefer discs all day everyday.

Bl pre sequel was rather short. Kinda fun, but I did it mainly for the storyline.
talent builds in pre sequel are 10x better than bl2. Range ressing is just great and can make your day better.
Handsome jack collection is worth a pick up.

7 Jan 161#50
The game is great solo, or up to 4 people.
I enjoyed the game as 2 player online with a friend. Lots to do, and the game length for bl2 was around 16+ hours per run through.
As a group of 4, we got stuck around the 3rd difficulty. The game is extremely unbalanced and we gave up.
Didn't find a difficulty issue with 2 people. Solo you may struggle towards the later difficulty. But it's still a great game.
Only downside to BL, is you complete the game on normal around level 25-30, and then redo the whole game on hard at 30-50 then extreme on 50-72. The game can be a drag towards the 2nd and 3rd play through.
Storyline is decent, characters are cool, villian is 10/10.
Overall rating 8/10.
pros:
loads of content
A lot of different talent builds to play around with
loads of loot
Stable frame rates
solid gameplay
Bad ass ranks are interesting
cons;
difficulty spikes
Some boring fetch quests
replaying the story again to lengthen the game
Not enough to keep you there at end game

Its crazy how good it is and its the most 'gamey' game TellTale have made. I didn't expect it to be this good as no one really talks about it and the cover art is generic so thought it would be the same for the game but couldn't be more wrong.

Avoid Rainbox Six and Zombie Army Trilogy, as they all require online MP to get the most out of them. The rest are as good without PS+ as with (DriveClub Bikes and Mortal Kombat also have MP components, but there's enough SP content there to make them just about worthwhile all the same)

I bought a mix amount of store credit in anticipation of the store sales on Xbox One and PS4 but I'm wishing I'd have just spent it all on xbox credit as their sale has been better imo.
