Only recently been introduced to these Co-op deals. Bought the turkey crown one before Christmas. They are fab - I'm a convert!

I'm not convinced by this one as much as the pizza one but they are still a reasonable deal.

Exclent value if you ask me! Plus left over for another meal feeds us (family of five 3kids 2 adults)

In my local co-op they often stick the staff details copy on the freezer for some reason and it lists contingency replacements for each. I thought I'd try swapping something to see what happens. So I got top-o-the-line Birds Eye peas instead of Co-op 'peas'. It scanned first time, no staff override.

Swings and roundabouts mind, because instead of veggie fingers (which I like but they had none) I got Linda McCartney veggie sausages and they were awful!

Top tip...... grab a bottle of co-op Spanish red to wash the meal deal down at £3.59, much smoother and tasty than all the £5-£6 bottles in the big supermarkets.

Don't forget 10% NUS if you have one! They also offer a FREE 'i Newspaper' Mon-Fri with NUS :sunglasses:

They are not a supermarket chain. Just a group of areas that come under the banner of the name of Cooperative Group.
If they are the biggest chain why are they the most expensive one out there even more expensive than Waitrose.

Never a full house in the freezer when I look in my coop, and can't be bothered asking what can substitute it

I have a co-op and sainsburys within a stone's throw of each other and I always find sainsburys to be the pricier (on all but the bread.)

Tesco have started doing these now, with a few different variables on the sides/desserts, like strawberry carte dor and onion rings too for the £5

Yeah... Saw that after I posted. And of course that my local co-op is not on the list.

due to the different size stores they operate out of, it cost more to run. You have smaller loads being deliveried in smaller lorries etc lots of inefficiencies.

I only shop at Waitrose; so this deal isn't beneficial for me.

Don't forget if you are a student and have an NUS card (or just nip into your local Uni and buy an NUS extra card for £10) you get 10% off everything at the Co-op including these deals.

Super offer, great value. However, this cod fish is not at all what is used to be. A couple of years back this was lovely whole fillets (and it came in plastic packaging inside the box. Today it's "formed" pieces of cod fillet, and minus the bag. No comparison in taste, texture or presentation.

The peas I can handle. I just chuck em in anything I make- chilli curry etc

sorry co op is second. Tesco 6814 stores co op 4039 stores. of the rest only sainsburys have just over 1000 stores with the rest in the mid 500`s. I didn't say they had the biggest revenue, not so silly now ok

Buying power is based on volume sold not the number of stores you own !
