Do these have the extra function of exploding when being charged?

Got something similar at a trade show stand I went to not long back. Great freebie however it won't charge my LG G2, works fine with other phones. The problem I think is that the LG G2 can do quick charging at 2Amps+, which I suspect the power bank sees as a short in its protection circuit and cuts out.
This one may be fine, just something to look out for with cheap power banks and phones that can do quick charging.

I just got mine the other day! Just to describe the product, it feels metallic and maybe about twice the weight of the EE Power Bar and another difference is that it doesn't have lights to illuminate the power level.

Nonsense. I returned mine. And told them where to shove the replacement

Just for info. You don't have to spend £10.
I just had one free with a £7.68 purchase.

Do you get a £20 voucher when you return it to EE? Not sure what there is to spend that on in EE.
