Begging your pardon sir, where might a proper persons dining establishment be found? Not for plebeian scum such as myself to enter of course, I just wish to stare through the windows in awe and perhaps peruse the rubbish bins for caviar and foie gras smears to lick.

Register a rewards card with beefeater and they'll email you a voucher for a free meal for your bday each year. Think you can add 3 family members and you'll get a voucher for something like free starter/pudding around their bday.

I don't think so as its only a code they punch in at the till, I would print it just to be sure.
Used mine this afternoon only to find our local Beefeater could not process the code through their till. Apparently their system has not been updated to allow it yet, so a manager manually applied the discount!

I have a Beefeater near me and the food/service has always been great. There are a couple of other 'posher' pubs nearby, but the food is no better, you just pay more for the snobbery value. Might not be Michelin standard, but it's good hearty well priced food.

Thanks for this, I go to our local beefeater with some colleagues each thursday for a pub quiz and occasionally have a burger or something, yeah it's not the best food in the neighbourhood but for effectively half price it's still a good deal, cheers OP.

Be prepared to leave hungry and out of pocket for the privilege of eating here. The new 'Autumn/Winter menu has less to offer and costs a lot more. The food portions are ridiculously small. Tiny starters and main meals the size of a normal starter, served on an oval plate that's roughly 10" by 4".
As an example a Sunday roast beef dinner consisted of 3 mini roast potatoes, a blob of beef, 1 yorkshire pud, a hint of veg and a small boat of gravy.
No real complaints about the staff, other than they kept missing drinks off the drinks order but there again they were busy.
All in all we, a group of 4 have now voted with our feet and won't be returning.
I suggest you check Trip adviser and take a look at the reviews for your nearest eatery before you take the plunge as the quality of the establishments is obviously not uniform :smirk:

yes portions are very small, almost dietary. maybe they are thinking of your new year resolutions! at ours you get what you pay s with vouchers then its starting to be the price it should be! food does taste OK but would not go out of my way to go there.

like all restaurants it depends on the one you go to, the ones locally are terrible but one a few miles away is very nice with great staff. cant judge them all the same.

Used this deal last night for the wife and myself.
A sharing platter to start, fillet steak each (properly cooked, melt in the mouth) with proper chips, mushroom and tomato, and a small side salad. Accompanying sauce each. 2 pints of San Miguel and 2 large Pepsi Max.
Price £42 which is quite outstanding.
I can't work out which elements were microwaved. I'm quite handy in the kitchen and I couldn't microwave anything here except maybe the sauces.
