Hi don't normally post but just wanted to say if anyone did buy the wrong product as the barcode scanned through as it being the correct one, then had the reciept rejected by the bot. Do raise it with support as I just got the cashback through fine just took a few days :smiley:

My shopitize app today is showing 3x free Bahlsen: Dark chocolate,Caramel and White.

This is one thing I find very annoying about Shopitize, they include products which are not stocked by the supermarket. As per Bahlsen website, the dark chocolate is only stocked by ASDA. The milk chocolate is stocked my most supermarkets including Sainsburys. Not very long back, Shopitize had an offer on Popcorn which I could find in only one Tesco in entire London.

Nice offer, I have rubbish Sainsburys near me, might do ok if I walk to the one an hour away... But top offer!

I scanned the milk choc instore and it accepted it so bought it n luckilly the receipt went through first time aswell

doh... same problem others have with me. my dad was heading to a far off sainsburys so have him a note with the offer for dark choc...he scanned what was in store.... it accepted so he bought it. came home for me to process and it needed scanning again. did so all was ok... scanned the beans he also got. went to submit receipt and it said to scan this again. did so about twelvesillion times and no joy. then looked again at the item and the one he bought was milk choc. Would get super annoyed at him but it worked for him when scanning and when I did it at home. just it said not possible straight after. Annoying! ah well..

Only milk chocolate in Sainsbury's ,did,nt chance it,as the offer only dark chocolate .

I managed to get the milk one, no dark in my sainsburys.
Got the receipt snapped ok and confirmed.
However cant withdraw my money as my app crashes on both iPad and iPhone when I try to withdraw! No updates on AppStore either

First time I've seen a shopitize offer appear on any other day apart from Wednesday (and the old Thursday freebies). These progress bar offers normally go quickly.

Assuming you have the "at least £4.00 before you can withdraw", I would suggest using the "Contact Us" in the menu to report your problem to them and ask for help in solving. They are very responsive.

Just to clarify for people new to Shopitize, an App that offers cashback for buying certain offers in certain stores, typically refreshing the offers each week on Wednesday.

You buy the item, paying as normal in Sainsburys and claim back your money (eventually) from Shopitize, an independent outfit who run the App.

Best advice is while you're shopping in Sainsbury's to use the Shopitize App to (a) validate the barcode on the item you're putting in your basket actually matches the offer and (b) ensure this CAPPED offer is still available (ie that the offer is still there at all as the progress bar indicates how many redemptions are left!)

As soon as you have paid use the Shopitize App to photograph the receipt ASAP and claim £1.60 to get it added to your Shopitize a/c balance. (This is necessary as CAPPED offers can vanish with others busily claiming the limited # of redemptions.)

Only once you've reached £4.00+ owing to you in the Shopitize App can you ask for a withdrawal direct to your bank. They are VERY reliable at paying out (to date) though they only pay out once a week - on Thursday's from memory.
