Same price as this time last year (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/epson-c1700-colour-laser-printer-49-99-clas-ohlson-instore-2045670). In stock in Reading store- but should be national.
Amazon's lowest price was £89.95 in April 2013.
Replacement toner is cheap, starting at £16 for a set of 4 (non original) from ebay.

That model has been discontinued by Epson.
Supposed to be wireless, but says windows only.

Great price for a good and frugal printer. Wish I could take advantage of it. I live in Scotland and have 3 house printers already, but always space for a fourth, right?

'House printers' - that could solve the shortage!

I was in the Croydon store yesterday but didn't see any in the stack of printers. Pity. I had the Dell 1250C from Tesco some years ago, and this is the equivalent model, based on the same Xerox engine. I loved that printer, it was compact, not too heavy, and gave good quality prints. However, I was using it for volume production of a monthly club newsletter and eventually the colours became very patchy, probably because it was caked up with cheap toner! Might try another store.

No stores in Northern Ireland either...
I guess the only issue with this is the cost of toners - and their small yield (1.4K for high capacity toners!)

Thanks, not quite worth the trip to my local Newcastle store

Clas Ohlson? Live in Scotland and never heard or seen of this store? Is there 2 of them in the UK or something?
