Just nipped into Watford Asda and was looking at TV's when I spotted this.
Brand new Dyson DC50 on the shelf on its own, didn't look to see if they had any more, priced up at £129!
Quick check online and couldn't see it cheaper than £200 anywhere.
Comes with a Dyson 5 year warranty once register online.
Receipt posted in comments along with the shelf barcode.
They're clearing these off because 1) it's rubbish and 2) the new version 'small ball' is out now. Decent price but small capacity, poor hose reach, and the old style brushbar that gets stuck on deep carpets.

I can't find any reviews that claim it to be rubbish. Luckily enough that I have hard floors and short pile carpet.
Makes sense that they'd lower the price if there's a new one out though.
Not sure that's the case in this deal as almost everywhere online has is £100 more than in-store.

Have to agree with you especially the poor hose reach.

All the reviews I've seen on amazon, currys and dyson itself are over whelming excellent. I know because I've read them all having just bought it ! The collector bin is too small - but thats a trait in most modern vacuums.
Lol ! Comes with free child to do your vacuuming for you too!

I have this model and the machine does have its limitations. Main faults I have found are:
1. Short hose so will not reach to the top of the stairs
2. Needs to be emptied regularly as the dust box is small
3. Service recommendation is to wash the filters monthly
4. feels very flimsy - but I am comparing it to a DC04
on the plus side, its light compared to the large Dysons and it very powerful (as long as you keep the filters clean). For £129 its a good buy as long as you can live with the negatives

its a compact model so the hose is supposed to be short. it's still longer than most other brand equivalent models though and light enough for most people to lift and use the hose. great little vac, but deeper pile carpets it can struggle with - the brush bar tends to jam and need resetting.

Not that I could see. It wasn't with the rest of the household appliances though so if you're local it's worth a check. The shelf had it priced at £129 so it's not a misprice. Could be the same in other stores?

Lol we actually went in there to get dinner initially!
I missed out on an Amazon lightning deal for a vax upright at £69 earlier this month as our old one doesn't stand up on its own anymore so I've been on the lookout for a decent deal. This one literally jumped out at me as it was next to a TV and then the 5 year parts and labour guarantee forced me to buy it!
Chuffed to bits tbh
