Dulce gusto coffee machine. Not to everybodies taste but very cheap considering you get £10 voucher for pods inside the box.
Although it isn't the play and select model it's still very cheap at £12 for the machine.
Local extra (Thanet) had a good few dozen on the shelf.

Does anyone know how this compares to the Tassimo? Im undecided about which to go for

I personally prefer the Tass, larger cups, better coffee and a much better built machine

It's a matter of personal taste, I personally prefer the Dolce Gusto ones, and beside that normally (where I live) their pods are easier to find.

We used to use our tassimo religiously until they changed the recipe, my hubby then switched to instant latte sachets until he got a dolce gusto for Xmas and loves it!!!!

some good deals for Dolce Gusto pods on Amazon, especially if you're a prime member with free delivery.

Looks like only the red version is £22 for the time being, just grabbed one from Edinburgh Tesco half an hour ago. Black version and Krup model still advertised at recent low prices.

I can only recommend Lavazza pod machines, the coffee doesn't taste metallic like all the others I have tried.

This isn't the automatic one is it? You have to gage when to stop the coffee and milk? X

we bought the tassimo 2 years ago and I was not happy. The milk has an extremely short shelf life. The only good thing was that it came with a voucher off and you can get Costa. However, the pods are more expensive, coming in around £4.50-£5 for 8 drinks. I haven't tried the dolce gust but I know the drinks are cheap compared to Tassimos. I think I will be looking for this.
Thanks poster.
