Seems like a good price for the latest expansion. Note that this version needs the original DriveClub to play - standalone version is £9.99

Always found it a little bit odd having bikes as an expansion for a game called "Driveclub". Just make a new game!!

Think the PS+ version suffices as when originally out it was slightly cheaper for a PS+ member?

Will it go lower? Anyone know whether you can play the bike expansion with a wheel too for giggles?

The worst thing about DC is that it rewards dirty tactics (PIT manoeuvres) in online games...
Offline, it's a great racer IMO.

If you're judging drive club by its initial reviews, it's a different game since then. It's brilliant.

So when I got Drive Club and the Season Pass, I thought I would get all DLC after, but these bikes are showing as an extra payment (?) Is that wrong, or right ?

It's a bit of a pisstake that this expansion isn't covered by the main season pass.....

Not really. Season pass is for 1 year, not the lifetime of the game. Hence the word "Season" (although that is an annoying Americanism)

Perhaps showing my age and how much I don't game these days but I never really got the pricing models for Drive Club. I bought a physical copy of it - rarely played it in truth but fancy giving it another go. I get that this is a paid for expansion but is there another season pass to get full content or was that to upgrade those who had the ps+ version or something?
To be honest, I sort of loathe the whole "season" content model.
GS_Dan to J0n35y
7 Jan 161#33
It's more complicated than most games but worth working through, it's very good value
If you have PS+, you're entitled to a (digital) free version of the game which has limited content. You can upgrade this to a full version of the game for £7.99, which will give you all of the content of the base game plus access to the free DLC (all new tracks are free).
The season pass only contains new cars and campaign events, but there are a lot of them. The game + season pass bundle is only £9.99 for PS+ members. Loads of content for a tenner! The pass is more expensive for non-PS+ users.
Because the bikes were introduced after the season pass finished, it isn't included. But it looks to have a lot of content, though.

7 Jan 16#39
Does this just add bikes and more events or are there new tracks too? I saw a youtube video of Bikes and it made me feel a little dizzy. I love the basic DC with Season pass and Ive barely scratched the main events. Is there likely to be a second season pass for 2016 that might add even more to the game?

As well as the Bikes there is other DLC content not covered by this deal, as I discovered last week.
There is still a staggering amount of content to download if you buy the deal though, sadly it doesn't come in one download so it takes ages going through all the stuff.
Got the game + Season Pass bundle a few days ago, but haven't played it yet as playing through Bloodborne atm - am tempted to get this too, but what might really tip me over the edge is if it has the Manx TT, so does it? And would you say it is worth it given that I've still got all of the other content to get through?

So what do you have to do on this game ?
Do you have swerve in and out of traffic at stupid speeds, undertake traffic, overtake on solid white lines, wear one of those silly POLITE NOTICE bibs to look like the police, stick an inch off people's back ends where you can't be seen,
In other words act like a real world biker

Just got all start from the amg pack, 100% all of DLC. just not sure i will like this so putting off for now. The normal game is challenging enough especially on night races, no headlight cover at all on track so imagine racing it on 2 wheels lol.
Does someone know if this means adding this Expansion to the free PS Plus Edition Driveclub unlocks all the locations such as Norway and Scotland for all the cars in the multiplayer/single player modes?

I'm a 'fan' have been interested the day it was announced but I don't have a PS4 yet :disappointed: . Can't justify one because I have a huge backlog on the PS3 that I'm still going through (less time here and on NeoGaf would help).

Has anyone tested this with a racing wheel? Thoughts? In my head it just seems like it would be too confusing controlling a bike with a wheel.
