both of my suits (40 inch jacket) came with 40 inch waist... contacted Flannels on Friday and still not response :/

Well I appear to be in the minority as the sizing on my suit seems about right. The hems on the trousers needs sorting but that's not a big deal. Not the best suit I've ever had but well worth the £69 I paid.

i got a 40L suit. Firstly, it is so shiny it looks like something you would wear to court (may be the fashion - allegedly worth £360). The main problem was the size. The jacket is tiny. I could understand if it was slim fit, but it wasn't. It is now winding its was back at my expense!

got size 40 x 2 ... one is perfect, the other one has a tiny bit tighter trousers, however still pretty good. Ty for the post

OMG received my suit today, got a 38R trouser and it's more like a 30 inch waste.... what a total waste of time and money in postage

I got a 42 slim suit. The jacket is a good fit and very slim. The problem is trousers, they are a 36 apparently but a very generous 36. I have no idea what shape someone who fits the trousers and can do up the jacket would be :confused:

I can confirm a 40" comes with 34" trouser. I got one of the slim fit suits - arrived today. Good quality and fits true to size I would say - very impressed for £80 anyway!

My 2 suits arrived today. Quality is OK (not fantastic). I'm a 40" chest and the jackets feel tighter than they should. Also, annoyingly, the trousers came unhemmed, so that's extra hassle and expense to add-on. Also ordered a cardigan and it's poor... very thin and the large is cut more like a medium (even though I ordered according to their size guide).

All suits are listed with chest size. And that's it. A lot include what inside leg trouser size you will get with jacket, but they don't appear to fit the average shaped chap. I'm 5'9, 40' chest and 32' inside leg and 32' waist. For a 40' chest they state some jackets come with 93cm inside leg. Which is longer than long. Google leg sizes conversion table.
Whilst they say the trousers come unhemmed so are suitable for tailoring, many of the suits don't mention the waist size, which is considerably expensive to alter at a tailors. So voted cold :disappointed:.

Appears decent ish. Nothing quite beats a mix and matcher though imo. i.e. a retailer that offers a service that suits the customer rather than themselves (although I can hear my imaginary economics a level teacher saying, yes, but if they did that, they would have to charge more). Sigh.

Flannels is part of the sports direct group. Only saying and sharing info. Good price though.

Very tempted to get 2 suits for this price but decided not to be greedy as they might not be a good fit. I'll have to get the trousers tailored as it is (42 chest, 32 waist here... surely a waist 6 numbers down compared to the chest is no longer the norm???)

might be dkny but the styling is back to the 80s. Their cheap for a reason no one wants them.

Doesn't specify the lengths for both the jacket nor the trousers. Does anyone have any ideas on whether these size lengths are Short or Regular or Long?
