I am gonna use mine to switch router off at night for few minutes, it cleans caches and keeps it working top notch:)

Thats a good idea might hook it up to my Smart TV and Sky Box as well, will stop me having to reset them at inconvenient times

Sort of off topic and I'm not 100% on this, but I'm sure a friend working in telecoms told me in that resetting your router regularly can have an adverse effect on your download speeds. IIRC It's to do with your local telephone exchange recognising frequent breaks in your connection, to protect it it limits whats it sends down in case of a wider issue on the assumption the user will call in to have properly diagnosed and fixed. May be barking up the wrong tree but worth bearing in mind

I think this is true of ADSL but if i remember correctly its frequent resets within a short space of time, 1 reset every 24 hours wont effect it, It forces the line to provision the speeds and sets a sort of safety speed mode, also this doesn't effect LLU as much (although it can) and Fibre uses Dynamic provisioning.

I just purchased mine in Derry store. They had about 6 Silvercrest Timer Switches (Digital for indoors) as per Op left and also had a few Silvercrest Timer Switches (Mechanical for Indoors) 2 pack. I bought both options to test out but the Mechanical timer seems like better value for 2 same price as above

Had a look at same item posted before which gives some additional unqualified info which might prove useful. I'm keeping both options. Bargain for £8 for three plus acts as somewhat of a deterrent if my Philips hue lights fail me
