Indeed. You prefer the Barber's Shop look (top of page) for your pad?

Don't like many of them to be honest. There's a good reason for some being clearance items in my opinion but you may get lucky with a pattern or two.
The one in the original post looks to have taken inspiration from a ZX Spectrum loading screen. Nothing wrong with retro normally but come on..

If you've ever put wallpaper up yourself you'll understand that it's very easy to get paste onto the outside of the paper itself as it goes onto the wall (for example when pasted sheets touch together). So it's kind of important to be able to wipe that off with a wet sponge without taking all the colour out of the paper with it. The "washable" papers are more likely to hold their colour. Of course a professional would not have this problem - I'm afraid when it comes to decorating, I am not one.

If you've got the time and effort you could carefully cut it down into strips and then twist onto an empty toilet roll cardboard thingy doobery wotsit.
It'll work out cheaper than bog rolls and you'll have some lovely patterns to look at .
You could even buy a paper that matches your khazi.
Should only take a couple of days to make the equivalent of 12 rolls .
Make sure you use the pasting side for wiping though as some of these anaglypta finishes could play havoc with your ring.

Same price - £2 a roll, and this one is washable unlike the one pictured at the top.
