Great price for a radio controlled Eco-Drive watch, with perpetual calendar, alarm and sapphire crystal (not all specs listed on Ernest Jones). Free delivery or in stock in some locations.

Both in-store (via registered cards) and online cashback available through Quidco, too (but not at the same time!).
The Blue Angels watch I posted also from Ernest Jones has now gone up in price - as far as I can see, this is the cheapest new, sub-£200 radio-control, chronograph Eco-Drive I can find (including Creation, I believe).

Chinese rubbish

Might be Chinese rubbish but I sold my Swiss omega in favour of a citizen radio controlled watch. 5 year warranty and no battery change, added to that a £1000 watch that only has a plastic movement. Overpriced Swiss rubbish for me.

What isn't, I suppose (without paying considerably more!)?

I believe you get an extra 6th year for registering the warranty.

Yes, you can pay £5000 for a Rolex that is not particularly accurate and needs servicing at a huge cost or buy a Citizen that is accurate to the second. and comes with a six year warranty. choices choices.

Awww, now this comes up!, been after a nice eco for a while and this is a lovely one. Unfortunately I just went for the Mondaine UTC watch (HUKD at TK Maxx for £99), but I'm equally pleased with that, with its good quality (repairable) Ronda jewelled swiss movement & a battery life of 40 mnths.
This Citizen is a great price & looks to be exclusive to EJ?. Good find OP.

Not into having a load of city names on the watch, but if you don't mind that kind of thing it'll be good watch, then again my watch has a big black tachometer band around the outside
I have a AT4008-51E which has a very smooth action. This watch will also be the same no doubt.

Great find. I bought one few days back instore. Was sitting on the display at this price. really pleased with it. Dual time zone, radio controlled, sapphire glass, eco drive, what more can one want. The only con would be that the 23mm strap is not the easiest to find if you would like to exchange straps and give it a new watch filling after awhile. HOT

Have you actually applied and purchased with this?
Just got text to say mine has arrived to collect from the store - guess I can't retrospectively use it and suspect they're not as good as the likes of Amazon/tesco for refunding the difference. At least I should get cashback, although not tracked yet.

picked mine up and spoke to the manager about the 10% code. They happily refunded me the £17, and with topcashback makes this a bargain.

Well done, you did well there. In my rush to collect mine, go to bank and pick up kids, I forgot about the code! Oh well-being I haven't paid for it myself anyway (birthday gift), am really pleased with it: looks and feels great quality, apart from squeaky strap where the leather rubs the metal lugs (i think), but hoping that'll go.

Phone a local store maybe, in case their stock monitoring systems aren't great? Sorry, not selling mine!

There is still something nice to have a mechanical watch. I can't actually say which I prefer, my mechanical watches or my quartz watches. I like both for different reasons.
