Great price for this solar powered, radio controlled watch with perpetual calendar and alarm - also has sapphire crystal stated on back when I looked in-store. Free delivery and collect from store.
Nice enough watch for the money but the dial is way too busy for me.

Nicer in the flesh, but I thought so too and went for the other one I posted.

I thought this was cheap until I realised its not the proper pucka one. Better one here.

This is still great value for the features and quality - I tried it on and don't actually like the digital part of the one you linked to.

An absolute bargain.
However, I agree with your comment. I ordered this for home delivery about five days ago - initially received a confirmation e-mail followed the next day by an apology e-mail regarding OOS.
Happens all too often with EJ's pile of turd website. It is not too much to ask for a store website that tracks stock levels accurately in this day and age!

Ernest Jones showing as 3% cash back on sale items via Quidco so worth a try for an extra fiver back to sweeten the deal.

Agree with the above.
The website is a joke-tried to order several "sale" items which state in stock until you try to checkout.
Avoid.

Voted cold, looks too similar to my £1.89 watch (which in all seriousness has kept perfect time for the last 6 months)

How many AA batteries does the controller need for this watch.

Yes, but the Skyhawk version has never been this cheap and, in the flesh, I was surprised the blue leather band is very nice. Therefore, as you say, this is a cheaper version, at an even cheaper price (or was).
Plus, some, like me, may prefer to not have the LCD functions and even more clutter.
