Forecast shaping up nicely for potent Atlantic blocking (high pressure over Greenland) a low pressure system in the north sea will bring cold northerlies with plenty of snow, if we get a low pressure pushed down the channel or through N France that'd do nicely for the south coast too.
Next couple of weeks looking good for cold & snow. It could still go wrong as predicting snow is hard (rain just needs one thing for it to fall as snow you're looking at 8 variables)

Unless its an all new special sledge for drizzle it wont be good in the UK anymore bar the north of Scotland..
