This is a Thai beer and it would taste the same, if you drank it here or in Asia, seen as it is Brewed and bottled in Thailand and imported to the UK

Bwer Chang is 8.5% in Thailand. This crap is only 5% tastes completely different.
Also Singha is 6.5% in Thailand, again only 5% in UK
Stella 5.2% in rest of world, but in UK 4.8%.
The UK is great at destroying good beer and turning it into something fake.

In Thailand
Chang classic is 6.4% (may have recently changed to 5.5%???)
Chang export and draft is 5%
Got some last night - doesn't taste the same as the Thai version.
But that's always the case; drinking ice cold Chang on a hot Thai beach is a lot different to drinking it here in a rainy winter....

Beer Singha and Chang are good, but I prefer the Leo brand which is cheaper in most places and tastes just as good as the other two.

This month in Thailand Chang was actually the cheaper of the two. Although the bottles are slightly smaller than Leo in Thailand.

Not as cheap, but in case you don't have a Tesco (like us)
Spar are selling Chang at 6 bottles for £10 (£1.67 per bottle).
Like I said not as cheap, but might be of interest / convenient for someone...

Chang alcohol content actually varies from bottle to bottle. Re-known for the variations I'm afraid. One bottle maybe 5% then next 8%. Not sure on the imports but true (depends who is brewing it for them... usually send the recipe to a brewery say in Burton on trent and they brew it albeit it with local water - hard water area in Burton on trent). Sorry getting deep ha ha.
Leo is the best beer in Thailand IMHO. Followed by Singha. Chang is awful in comparison but miles better than the cabonised gaseous water crap produced in England. £1.25 is nearly as cheap as getting it in Thailand. Brilliant offer. If no Leo or Singha of similar price I would certainly snap up a fair few bottles whilst you can. Chang Ch Chang Chang goes down very well after the first bottle lol.
