Maybe get them to scan it, it definitely showed £20 on the shelf and scanned at that price.

I don't want to buy it, just noticed it when I was looking around the sale stuff today.
I bought one last year in the sale and it went back after 2 days, it wouldn't turn on when you wanted it too so back it went.

Can only give positive feedback on one of these. Only use mine for occasional Bluetooth connection for music on my ipad and the sound quality is superb!

I have one of these under the tv in our family room and it's great. The kids also use it via Bluetooth to play music off their phones. Even at £25 this is well worth it.

Will it connect via a headphone socket and take external power?

If it's the same one, has good Amazon reviews (though not available to buy anymore). Seperate bass and treble conrols?
Yes it's the same one from Amazon and has separate controls.

Apologies for adding to the "Will this connect.." posts but will it connect to a PC via Bluetooth? I'm assuming so and that it's AC mains too.

I used to own one when I bought it last year for £29.99. Don't let the price fool you, the sound quality is exceptionally good for its price and it doesn't sound muddy or unclear which is usually associated to speakers of this price. A strong point about this speaker is that the bass and treble can be manually adjusted to desried preference - as well as the bluetooth function (although when pairing by bluetooth to devices to watch movies, the sound may not sync well with the movie as there is a lag.. But you can still connect devices to the speaker through aux 3.5mm input). Although the bass setting won't satisfy bassheads, you still get crystal clear sound with very decent highs. I absolutely 10000% recommend this to everyone if you have the chance to buy one for £20.

The Sainsburys at Forest Hill still had 2 on the shelf at £20 about an hour ago

The bad thing is that after waking from standby volume reverts to a very loud default level.
There's no auto wakeup/sleep depending on input signal presence. No digital input either, just 2xRCA and headphones jack.

My mother has a 1 year old LG TV and she bought this but returned it as Volume+ on the TV turns down the volume on the soundbar and Volume+ on the soundbar turns down the TV!
