Please don`t buy. Bought this tv about 2 1/2 years ago for 200 pounds. Lasted about 15 months then went on the blink. Spent another 100 pounds getting it fixed then no picture but sound still there. Do yourself a favour and spend a little more and get a decent tv. They`re cheap for a reason.

Got one yesterday in milton keynes store and really really happy with it.
It was stickered as £180 but checked with staff and it was actually £150, so if you do see it in store and it's not £150 they just probably haven't updated the sticker yet. I only use it for PS4 gaming/blu-ray and streaming netflix etc, and so far, with a bit of fiddling with the settings, it is surprising brilliant. I don't know about SD but HD stuff all looks awesome on it. The sound might not be quite loud enough if you are having it in a massive room but for an average size bedroom it does just fine. Can always be paired with a soundbar later which seems to be the trend now - even with more expensive TV's.
So yeah, highly recommended. Don't be afraid of it just because it's cheap. It's awesome.
(also: comes with 12 month manufacturers guarantee and gives you about £7.20 or so in nectar points)

Hi I'm thinking of this for my son to play his ps4. How do you stream Netflix etc? That's what he wants on his TV to be able to watch Netflix, I player etc.

bought this a couple of weeks ago for £180, so far pretty good TV, though like all new TV's it takes a few weeks or so to 'bed in'. Can I go to Sainsburys with the receipt and ask for a refund of £30?

I just got one at Westwood Cross, Margate.
What a steal!
Ridiculous price for what you're getting. Regardless of the name, this TV is a fantastic buy. Stick it in the kids bedroom, conservatory, bedroom, toilet, garage or shed. Stick it anywhere at this price.
careful of your replies, I know where some would stick it. haha

Had this TV for 3 weeks now and have to say this is a great TV and for £150 you cant go wrong, so ignore all these people saying its crap as its made by Vestel, its not crap!
I only watch from HD sources and dont play video games and i'm impressed, but comparing it to a £500+ Samsung or LG TV is ridiculous.
As long as it lasts for a few years, i'll be happy.
Its £150 nationwide, so go buy and enjoy!

Is this deal nationwide or just in select stores? Seeks a very good price. Can anyone recommend this?

I didn't think Sainsbury Merry Hill did much in the way of electricals, literally Merry Hill store or was it at the much bigger nearby Amblecote store?

it was in the merry hill centre, they had 1 left when I brought this but it looks like a national deal.

Yeah, I'm a menace! He originally offered me £200, I felt bad so gave him a "huge" discount (for a 14 year old) lol.
Besides he got a free 3TB HDD for his Xbox from me the day before, so I'm not all bad!

Have the 32" version in my son's bedroom. Had it about a year and no issues. Fantastic quality for the price. ..ignore the brand snobs

Parents got one of these when they were £199 last summer. Can't complain, no dead pixels and suits them just fine. Only complaint is tinny sound so best paired with a sound bar

Crap brand of TVs . I've had nothing but problems with this brand . The pixels start failing after 12 months and play no .mkv MP4 or any other file formats

Got one last year for £200, absolute bargain at £150. I used it for casual gaming. Did the job well. Just sold it to my brother for £175 so he won't be finding out about this deal from me! Mehehehehe! Hot!

Regardless of the current £150 price ...
You only took £25 off what you paid for a year old basic TV. To your brother?!?!?!?
You don't like your brother much then?
(I'm amazed he handed over that much for it! No way I would have ....)
