Haha thats ridiculous, whereas if you went for this and paid excess mileage it would be £180 extra per year- just an extra £15 PM

6p per mile x 3000 = £180 divided by 12 = £15 per month extra

Be careful with excess mileage, it's not as straight forward as xp per mile. Some companies, and this lot are one if I remember correctly, have a sliding scale that if you exceed a certain amount of excess mileage, the cost per mile shoots up.
My lease is 6p per mile until you go over 30% of your initial allowance. At which point its something like 36p. It's something to be aware of!

I've already requested the quote for this and they email back telling me is expired and give me a quote for an alternative car... A BMW! If I wanted a quote for a BMW I would have asked for one!! Appears to me a marketing ploy to get you 'talking'.

The BMW 330e looks amazing, similar price. 0-60 in 6 seconds and 130ish mpg

Yes, great company to deal with. Very efficient and friendly service.
I think, but don't know, that most of these leasing places are just essentially reselling the same thing from the same source and hence they'll post deals up but allotments get gobbled up by other companies and stuff like that.
Personally not had any issues other than when they don't stipulate business only and also put up personal pricing, but I know it has been a complaint of others that the pricing isn't indicative.

Anyone find with leasing companies that the price varies greatly when you ask for a formal quote? I am in process of trying to get a new car arranged, asked for formal quote which compared to price on the leasing site is wildly different.

Don't forget that with a lot of these lease deals you can often go directly to the bigger franchises who will price match, minus the admin fee.

Thanks guys for the replies.
I emailed the leasing firm I am dealing with and asked why has their quote came out around £60 more a month than their website shows for personal leasing for golf GTI.
Will drop a note on here when get an explanation!

Anyone looking at this the 'sport' is the bog standard entry level but still packs a lot of kit. Looks wise though the S Line is the one to go with, it has a nicer stance because of better wheels and various other kit. Ive seen deals kicking about for about £1000-1200 more over the contract and its probably worth it.

Also sounds like the telephone equivalent of click bait.
ahh just noticed business only, may be due to the MPG and emisions being so good there is a better tax break?
