I have an earlier version. if you don't have a steam generating iron you don't know what you're missing, almost makes ironing fun (or so the wife tells me)
This deal should be steaming :stuck_out_tongue: have some heat.

Better return policy, are you speaking for yourself or everybody on HUKD as a whole?

If there's any problems with this item then Amazons customer service is better than Argos that's what he meant

I have this and whilst it is a great iron, I find I can't do large loads, say ironing for more than 40 mins as the steam just stops. I complained about this and was told that's what happens. So as long as I switch it off and let it cool down for 10 mins it's OK. If I paid full price this would not have been acceptable, but it's good at what it does and I got it on a deal through here so I put up with it.

I'm not spending 90 quid, just to make life easier for the wife! She can continue to use the one we warm up on the cooker!:man:

We have this, been flawless after two morphy richards ones both broke with the same fault.
Bloody powerful - and you can't wear glasses while ironing with it (unless you glasses have windscreen wipers!).

Sticking to my principle of never paying the asking price (even if discounted) for anything posted here, this iron can be purchased for £83.21 via Flubit

Well after 16 days money back they don't take it back but with Amazon you have it picked up from you for free within the first 3 months

if there is a problem they 99% of the time take it back and give you a refund etc... probably the difference with having someone live to deal with rather than email your problem ..

I had one of these. I don't think it's all that, take ages to warm up and runs out of steam quite often. Gone back to a Philips Azur and much better IMHO.
