So how come there is only one shown in your photo?
Was the photo taken before or after you bought yours?
So presumably a store specific offer, selling off whatever they have left (perhaps a customer return)

Not store specific , I bought one on Merseyside yesterday. Wasn't sure it had 2 batteries and had them open it as it wasn't clear. There were 4 on the shelf.
Yep the torque is double the power and the battery has double the capacity at 3ah so looks like the professional one is better value all considered.

to be honest the green bosch is diy and only good for small tasks around the house and shed but the blue bosch pro is for trade and is built to last and will last longer and the battery will last twice as long before needing to recharge but I guess would take half hour or so to charge.

I bought this exact model from Amazon a few weeks ago while it was on offer for about £60. Been using it the past 2 weeks while re-doing the bathroom. I have to say it's absolutely brilliant, very well made, nice and small and light while still plenty powerful enough.
Would fully agree - the blue professional range Bosch tools are massively better, as is anything made by Hitachi and Makita.

Same applies to cars. don't bother buying a Ford Mondeo, spend twice as much on an E Class - it'll last so much longer...

I've been to the Macclesfield store who said that this deal was up to 23/12/15 and are now priced at £99.99. I have spoken to Sandbach, Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent who all confirm this. It's a good deal but I can't get it anywhere near me!

They are reduced price at Newport store, they had 2 left at lunchtime.
The box definitely had 2 batteries on the front cover.
If anybody is just looking for Bosch Li on batteries then Screwfix have them reduced to £19.99 if that,s any help.

Welcome to HUKD.
Unfortunately those batteries only appear to be 1.3Ah
They have some 1.5Ah ones at £64.99 (OOS for delivery, and OOS at all local stores to me, but you might find a store with stock if you look hard enough)
encybrit58
30 Dec 15#44
Irrelevant! With two 1.5 batteries you have the same use time as one 3.0 battery but £40 better off. This model will suit many peoples needs but leave them £40 better off. With two batteries from the 'Power 4 all' range you can buy a bare Bosch tool and fit the spare to that and be, probably, up to £90 better off.

I've just got one myself, they're discontinued. So where a store has one the deal applies.

Well lots of Homebase stores have them for what you describe as discontinued.
Unfortunately they want £99 for them :man:

Big thank you to the OP and the oddly help ful staff member at Portsmouth. One was left but marked at 99.99, showed them the SEL from OPs and without any fuss sold it for 44.93. Two batteries and 18v. Funny enough they had the 14v one for 44.93. Awesome, been after one for ages.
