After the microchip failure of 2 relatively new Makita batteries I'm now a total Bosch convert, their batteries are cheap and really out perform the other makes I've used (like for like). Can't go wrong with this neat combi from Bosch.

cheers for posting, went for the b&q offer for £85, thought 2x smaller batteries be fine as can use one while charging other, plus lighter to hold. Just brought it home, feels great quality. Not used as yet as charging battery!

I'm looking to order this for collection. How can I get hold of the £15 off code with B&Q please?

It was sent to B&Q club members. You have to sign up and tick to receive marketing emails & offers...it probably won't be sent if you sign up now but future offers will be.

Picked up from screwfix earlier. Looking forward to putting up my darts cabinet and will scour the house for jobs so I can make use of the drill

Wouldn't surprise me. Screwfix have loads of Bosch exclusive tools. Some of them are advertised as exclusive (Bosch GOP2000 & GBH2000 for example), whilst others have a slight modification of the model number on the end (like "plus" or another random letter). Most of these have upgraded parts like full metal gear boxes, a better warranty, and a slightly bigger chuck size.
It's really difficult to find the information out on them, as the specs are often difficult to find. Rest assured though that the Screwfix exclusive versions always seem to be higher rated.

Compared this with the GSB 18v LI and seems identical. Other than the stickers on the side. They both weigh the same bare and the GSB1800 is actually marked GSB 18v LI.
I noticed some sellers list a different torque for the LI but some have it the same.

only difference I spotted is the 18v Li has 21 torque settings whereas the GSB 1800 has 18

Seems that the battery Capacity effects the torque output.
