I prefer exide as they simply brilliant.
Good price if you after Bosch though.
Remember to check cca on your original battery and make sure it's same or higher. You could have trouble in cold mornings starting car if you go lower then recommended specially with diesel cars.
Be aware Euro car parts website shows you some batteries with less cca than recommended when you put reg in.

Would opt-for the 5% from quidco instead.

Eurocarparts is great, I ordered some bulbs from them a few months ago, spent about £1.50 and they delivered them to me free within a couple of hours.

Really bad customer service and most of the after market parts are cheap Chinese products that inevitably go faulty. I got discs and pads from Euro Car Parts and they squealed after 5 weeks. It was a fight to get money back from them for these parts. My brother got an ignition coil from them and it was misfiring within a month. I prefer to use a proper Motor Factor for parts instead of these cow boys.

I've always found them to be really good. Anyway this post is for a Bosch battery with a 3 year warranty. Are they made in China?

You have the choice to buy a reputable brand such as Pagid or go for the cheapest available - Eurocarparts give you the choice.
Personally I buy almost all my parts through Eurocarparts nowadays - they stock a range of quality products, have them in stock and tend to be as cheap as or better than eBay sellers.

today only Topcashback are doing 10% cb + they are are allowing the XMAS promo code too - getting another 15% off on top of the cashback. I just bought a Bosch S4 battery for my 11 yr old VW Touran @ £83.94 - 15% XMAS code = £73.15 purchase price, and expecting £7.31 cashback soon, so total price should be only £65.84 ;-)

far better getting the equivalent varta "silver dynamic" battery from an alternative supplier - they are the same as the bosch S5 at prices better than that at ECP for the S3

Phoned my local Motor Factor who said they will supply and fit an Oldam Advanced 3 year no quibble guarantee battery for £30.21 plus vat = £36.25 total. If I bring it back after 1 week, 1 year 2 years 2 years and 11 months and tell them it is faulty, they will take my word for it and offer a refund or replacement battery without question. I am not questioning Bosch as a battery I am saying it is far better to use a supplier that is not Euro Car Parts.

If you are interested in helping people and not just being argumentative you need to give people details of how to get the deal you are referring to. Also, how do I get a job like yours where you can spend so much time on this website when you're supposed to be working?

Bosch is not made in China no but like any other car part has the potential not to work properly. Bosch is a good make but on the off chance the battery doesn't do the job required it will be a major problem for the staff at Euro Car Parts to refund you. If you use a Motor Factor I've found they offer "no quibble" money back. Given that I've had problems in the past with Euro Car Parts I am suggesting it is wiser to purchase similar products for a similar price from a better supplier.
