I buy black running shoes cos its about a 4 mile walk to my Job centre Plus which I attend once a week. Makes my walking more comfortable.

Well that's your minute opinion, since reviews show otherwise.

You know, your opinion would benefit the internet much greater if you could provide us with some substance to your negative feedback, e.g.: why are they the worst in comparison?

Decent for work (PE Teacher). Bought 2 pairs. One for me and one for my brother (also a PE Teacher). With quidco and the £15 off that works out at £29.25 a pair. Bargain! Heat

Each to their own obviously but personally I've never understood the black trainer look. Where I live those that wear them normally team them with a matching plain grey hoodie and joggers combo for the full prison outfit effect.

I only ever buy black trainers and pretty much the furthest away description to the above in fact where I live all the chavs where white trainers....go figure!
Also these are awesome running trainers gt about 4 different pairs styles of these including the fly knits, not t everyones taste......as ned flanders would say:

I love black trainers because I go from work straight to the gym. To avoid the load, I leave my shoes at work and wear my trainers in to work then to the gym afterwards. Black trainers blend in with my "professional look" when I'm smartly dressed and serve their training purpose when I get into the gym.

Personally trainers aren't a fashion item, they are for training or doing something physical. Therefore if you go to the gym or run a bargain pair of nikes are decent. These are a comfortable trainer that are quite hard wearing. Black are easy to clean and should last.

Anyone serious about running wouldn't wear these. They're designed for either gym use (guys posing next to the weights) or for comfy everyday use. Regardless though the site is about deal sharing. This is a great deal considering the original cost. Thanks OP

A very generalistic view! wear what suits you, these are a 2 so very close to barefoot they won't suit everyone people who tend to pronate may struggle. But lots of runners use these iirc Mo won the 2014 london marathon in a modified flyknit iirc. So to say they are not for serious runners is disingenuous...

I like your analogy but disagree slightly. Racing and training are a world apart in running shoes. I run and consider myself average. Over 10 years in I have tried a few shoes, even the barefoot types, not for me and boy did I try !! So in my opinion unless you need a pair of racing flats (which these are not) don't even go there running in these, get some proper shoes. I do own a pair of these and a pair of free run 5 and wouldn't run in either. I hope this helps someone, and urges them to buy some substantial runners after having their gait analysed.

Due to the way they are made, I struggle to secure them tight enough around the bottom of my foot, and I have fairly wide feet to start with. So because of that, I need to tie them tighter around my ankle to keep them secure, and that's obviously not very comfortable.

Lol...Mo Farah? The highly paid Nike ambassador with modified versions who weighs half the average humans weight and is a professional runner....um quite a lot wrong with your comparison. These are not for serious runners full stop and I'd gladly bet you anyone trying to run for long periods in these would end up with severe problems. This is a deal site. It's a good deal.
