I think people are exaggerating the noise.

Mine came today. The fire effect doesn't look that good. and it's noisy.. really noisy, with just the light on only you can hear it grinding away, must be make out of incredibly cheap crap. Time to send it back.

Just picked mine up today and fitted it. Looks great, very pleased. Unfortunately I ordered before seeing the £5 off code but at 43 it's still a fantastic price.

they had a thing on these back in december 2014 and they were £39 along with some other types. i actually brought it and it was okay but by no means amazing wasnt as bright as it looks

bought this last year and it's noisy but does the job well heating a small room.
- it is made in China for b & q. Make is called Murlo, Wall Hung is the description, you need to hang it on the wall to operate safely.
- looks amazing and you can just turn the 'fire' on without heating.
- easy enough to hang

good price last year was £40 but cheap with code. heat added

probably a stupid question but, could this be turned on without producing heat and just simulating a fire?
