I have a black and decker steam mop and it's excellent. Much better than the two faulty vax ones I had. Temporarily out of stock though.

Don't waste your money, the only thing these do is (maybe) kill 99% of the germs! They melt wax so if you have wax crayon marks on tiles, they will remove them, but they will not remove baked on cooker grime, they will not remove old mould from tile grout and they will not remove hard to remove hard water deposits (like those round taps)
Ps I was totally not convinced after watching the video!

steam cleaners can only soften and loosen grime. if the grime is so hard you need to chisel it, then use a chisel.
but if you add some vinegar to the water, it can help. i use a steam cleaner in the bathroom and it helps around the sink and bath for hard water staining, and a light wiping with a natural citrus gel works.

Is that for all steam cleaners or just this one?

All, in my opinion.
Anything that looks (in the ads) as if it can be easily removed with a steam mop, can be easily removed without a steam mop. Crayon being the obvious exception*
in reality, fat (which these things are supposed to melt) is generally baked on
Cooker fat which has baked on will not be removed. Only oven cleaner will remove it. (this cannot be used on painted or plastic surfaces) Vinegar will remove light stains (of fat) where it has not set.
Mould, after some time, is actually in the surface of the grout, so can't be removed. If it isn't in the surface, then you can simply wipe it off with a cloth!
*Crayon can easily be removed from tiles with White Spirits or Turps Substitute

I don't believe in chiseling unless it's stainless steel. If you really want to remove hard water deposits, the best thing is a much stronger acid: formic acid, which is usually contained in kettle descalers. However this has to be done with care as it will burn and irritate the skin and eyes! Plastic gloves are essential!

when i say chisel, i was saying that if something needs brute force then use a hell of a lot of elbow grease.
and i find a lot of citric based creams eat into grime nicely, as do some sugar based ones. i descale my kettle with lemon juice then some vinegar, yes they are acids after all, but gentle.

What amazes me is that a whole industry of these domestic steam products has been developed which basically do nothing! If vacuum cleaners didn't clean or refrigerators didn't keep things cool, there'd be an uproar.
I suppose as what these things actually do is rather hazy, then they get away with it. The only thing the manufacturers are all actually sure that they do is kill germs.
