*sigh* Yes I know, my reply was to someone who said this was the cheapest pyrolytic oven they had found and I was pointing out that another had been posted the day before that was £35 cheaper (and was a better make too)

You have a sticker at front of your oven , it will have info ie. 2600 kW , divide this by voltage 230 , you get 11 this is amps , so 13 amp plug is suited

Quickest way is check the back of your current cooker, should tell you how many watts it is then calculate
Amp= (cooker wattage)/240

Ye open the door n down 1side will be info on oven , look for kW ie. This could be like 2600 divide this by you voltage 230 , you get 11.3 this is amps so 2600kw would us a 13 amp plug
Hope this helps joepineapples901

Damn, 16 amp. Need one that'll run on a 13 amp plug unfortunately. Great deal though OP. Heat added.

Is there a way of telling what ours would take without getting an electrician in?. Existing cooker is hard-wired into a heavy duty looking socket, with a big red 'cooker' switch, but that's all I know.
