We've got the CF5834 and it's been excellent. Better than the Samsung and AEG before it. Hot from me.

we have a standalone beko frost free freezer it is brilliant although thick walls of insulation mean less space inside.

Thanks for the feedback and heat for the deal. I too have now bought it from Amazon as I had some gift certificates

Was once told by "someone in the know" that Beko's will last 10/12 months at most and its a well known "fact".

Then your guy is clueless. Always near the top for reliability ratings. My beko fridge is 15 years old and my dishwasher over 12 years old. Both as good as new,

Like anything, it'll last as long as people look after it.
For example, I'd imagine people having their kids hanging off the doors will mean the hinges MAY loosen after afew years...
I've never had a problem with beko appliances, I currently have one of their washing machines that's going strong after 2.5 years.
Have it cleaned as recommended in the instruction book, don't overfill it by putting your years wash in one go, and you'll be fine.
I know someone who went 50k miles without servicing their car, even an oil change. The engine went pop, and they complained about how cars nowadays aren't built like they used to be.
I did feel like slapping him.

had my beko tall fridge for the last 10 years. never had an issue with it. tumble dryer is only being replaced as the heating elements are out of stock. find that they often have clever features usually found on more expensive stuff. that's just my own personal opinion. fridge is in use daily in a house with 8 people.
