In New Sawley Co-op. Likely to be more than a one shop deal -- not a reduced-in-store label, but a standard pricing label from the the bakery (see photo). The ones I bought today have a February best-before date. The shelf edge label had no highlighting, so the deal could easily be missed.

Great deal and eye catching post... mince pies for less than thruppence! Unfortunately my Co op doesn't 'do' shortcrust pastry which I prefer, they do huge puff pastry confections, all puff and 'hunt the filling'!

Not old money 24 old pence=2 shillings =10 new pence therefore they are 6 old pence or sixpence each.
