Absolute bargain, thanks OP.
I'm hoping this model does have the 6.4V lithium-ion battery as stated on the Tesco website.
It seems the manufactures website NEW BRIGHT states 5xAA" batteries for Vehicle and 2x AA for Transmitter.

heat for the price, but I've had a couple of new bright rc cars they are rubbish..poor range..about twelve feet, unresponsive, slow... a fiver is about right too bee honest..odd market stall quality..also, it's An error, batteries are not inside three box....

I agree, the New Bright RC's have a very poor steering range, and quite slow. But the ones with the 6.4V or the 9V lithium-ion batteries have better performance.
It looks as though this one runs 7xAA batteries, which are not included.

Yeah they are not great quality - but since batteries werent included as per product description, I would suggest to anyone that it is worth contacting Tesco via their online chat system since they refunded me half the costs. So worth keeping for £2.50 each.

It's okish but cheap quality.
Also it's kind of slow for having 5xAA batteries in it. Thought it take off with a flurry of wheels spinning

Did same and got refunded 2.5 for 2 cars, so 2 items in 5 GBP is not too bad at all  Thanks for your advise :smiley:
