if it says no spark plug socket then unlikely in the box there are 2 common sizes 16mm and 21mm,
Ahhh ok. Which is the most common drive size and what size are usually spark plug adapters?
This item doesn't state 'spark plug socket' included in the description so does that mean it comes without?

Hi,
How do you decide on which size to purchase for general use, including changing spark/glow plugs on cars?
Sorry for my ignorance.

size is the drive size be it 1/4 or a 1/2 inch or even 3/8 however you can get adapters and the set you buy will say includes spark plug socket. hope that helps..

I have the baby version of this set in my toolbox and its a great bit of kit, good quality gear from Bahco Their 3/8 and !/2" sets mentioned above have a really heavy duty feel to them, there not pretty, but they look the part good strong tactile sockets. the knurling is a great addition in a greasy environment. all sets have a rugged quality feel to them.

That looks very cheap (from a quality perspective), cancel it if you can.

Buy cheap, buy twice - see sense and just buy the Bahco

Bahco is definately a better buy.
That set also contains a lot of imperial sizes which is a waste if you only need metric.

I've got this set and I don't find it suffers from not being magnetic. The holder keeps a firm grip on any bit placed in it.
The question is though "Can I use this as a hammer?"...

The only problem with this set is that the holder is not magnetic so the torx and screwdriver bits can slip out. Yet on some of their larger sets the torx are mounted on their own socket. Thanks to the OP for posting this Bahco for the most part is decent quality.

The slip joint plier is also at pretty much it's cheapest too at less than £20. Bahco slip joint plier
I've got the set a little larger than this one with more extentions from homebase a few months ago. Very well made. Better than Halfords stuff. when I see a half and 3/8 set cheap I will be buying

4.8 is a very good Amazon review score. Clearly the Bahco brand (owned by Snap On), is still keeping the quality.
