Beats my rule of thumb 1p per branded teabag being a decent deal rule.

I would like to give heat but these b&m offers are often only at one store to make you go in

I don't drink this kind of tea myself as tend to stick to more concentrated extracts of Green tea for it's health benefits therefore I wouldn't know whether this stuff is any good or not. It seems good value but is it really crap tasting tea? I would buy it for anyone who visits but not if it is cheap crap and tastes terrible. I went into B&M last night but totally forgot about this offer and this thread while I was in there as I was rushing to get somewhere else. So what is the general opinion on this tea as I might be going near B&M later today?

I try to buy Fairtrade, where I can, as the difference is usually a few pence and also find the quality is usually better so not all a selfless act...
That said, this tea tastes horrible and basically ended up giving it to the local foodbank, rather than chucking it away.
Expensive crap, or cheap crap, is still crap.

Love it when the moral high-ground brigade come out 'I only buy fairtrade on principle....' as if the rest of us are looking round the supermarket:
"Put that ethical brand back, I want that specialist brand that promises to treat its workers harshly, not pay them and feed them of the meat of other workers who have been worked to death, now which aisle is the baby meat on as we have run out of Fox to eat....'

What you mean it you think the tea is crap. I've been drinking it for years and it's a good cuppa in my opinion...

Typhoo along with Tetley, Liptons and other tea companies use slave and child labour. . Forced to live on Plantation owners land in horrendous conditions with no toilets and safe drinking water in India.
Only if I drank tea. Not a bad idea to take up the habit for this price. Heated

I usually get my typhoo tea bags at McColls as they are 100 for £1 or 200 £2 which is a good deal. This deal if true is smoking hot, will find out tomorrow, if it is, expect some heat...:sunglasses:
Amazing deal, thanks! It appears that these are full strength Typhoo as well, and not the "one cup" rubbish.

My only worry is that it is a mistake, seems too good to be true, still going to pop in my local store in the morning and if correct and available will be throwing £5-£10 worth and that will be next years teabags sorted.

It's normally around the same price as this rubbish and you there is much better chance your not employing virtual slave and child labour.
