My biting point for this game...well it would have been if I hadn't already bought it for £13.99 in there a couple of months back.
I know this site is flooded with Assassin's Creed deals, but when they will insist on punching one out every single year, like a trailor park mum, this will inevitably be the result.

The gameplay and its visuals look mighty impressive, especially on PS4!

Might be worth scanning. People often say the price is different but then they scan and it is the same price. Check my Alien Isolation PS4 deal if you would like examples of this.

Any chance you saw the price of Battlefield 4 for the PS4?

Nope no sign of any of those today.

Believe Battlefield 4 is currently under £10 on the PlayStation Store, if you don't mind digital.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd prefer a physical copy but for under a tenner I might go digital.
I have never played any of the AC games before, would this be a good start?

This one is not like any of the other ones. People new to the series loved it but people who had been with the series didn't. personally I love it and recommended you give it a try

There are 2 plots happening in every game. 1 set in historic times. The other set in the present day.
The present day plot is continued since the very first game.
I'd recommend starting with AC1. Maybe watch all the cutscenes on YouTube

This is almost completely to any of the other AC games (to the point it should've had its own franchise). It's a faithful game based to the pirate era and you will love it though once finished it might seem short but there's DLC available.

I hated it. Found it marginally better than AC3. A world away from AC2/Bhood. There has been a distinct lack of story post Revelations.
For above poster, if you want to start and have a ps3 at home, look for AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations (lots of copies came with AC1 free). Then work your way through. The story, which the whole game was centred, is brilliant.
Even the newer games in series aren't doing much for me. Unity while it had problems at birth is better than this. Syndicate is a bit of a bore too. Solid game but story is pap.
Patiently awaiting last gens AC's reworked. Pretty sure Ubi just registered AC collection. Which I am salavating over....

This was the only AC my brother became sick of before finishing the main story but I loved it personally, in my opinion it's well worth a tenner for about a solid month of gameplay.

I loved it. Edwards story was good and the view at sea with sunset always looked epic.

I'm still trying to work out why when I bought AC black Friday jack daw edition for £20 lightening amazon deal. That they later gave me back £9 because it reduced in price!

I can definitively answer that : because they're desperate.

If you like sailing around as a pirate it's pretty good. Personally I like it.

I thought this was better than unity. Excellent game.

Good deal. Not as good as the Amazon lightening deal for the Jackdaw season pass version last week (which I was lucky to get) but this is still a great price.

Stock which lasts all of about 4 hours could never be considered a good deal.

It was actually worse than that as they sold out in the 30 minute prime members early access.
