Never found one that will work unless i push it but they don't stay connected. Honda Civic
That's a problem with the socket rather than anything else.

The Aukey one with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 was even cheaper on Amazon, but HDUK deleted my post a month ago :disappointed:
At least I got a good deal.

It is stated but just be aware that qualcomm quick charge 2.0 is not supported.

Ok, thought I'd take a punt and give this a go as I've gone through so many that claimed to deliver a good charge and utterly failed. Hopefully this will be the exception that proves the rule...

Use this in my car and works great . Can't remember what I paid but would be happy at £5.99 better than a rubbish cheap one that trickle charges
Thanks i look about. I'd just resigned myself to moan about it forever more

Oddly enough, I did find a charger that seemed to poke out by quite a bit (on a Toledo), so I'm guessing that particular one might have suited your Honda? I can't remember which one it was though, I binned it because it looked so daft!
The Anker devices sit quite snugly in my Mondeo, so I'm guessing they will be a bit short for your car.

I can vouch for Anker, I unfortunately had one go faulty and they sent me another no questions asked.
Touch wood, Ive had my current car charger around a year and is still going strong.

Just use an Anker battery pack in the car instead, no trailing wires to get in the way

Remember though to keep a cable in the car otherwise they're useless if you aren't carrying a cable with you. If you're only using it to charge your mobile then I can't see any advantage in these over the ones with the usb cable built in.

I think this comes with a cable? I'm sure the last one I bought did anyway...

Not all car cigarette lighter sockets are designed to output the modern generation of gadgets and it is best to check your handbook.
You could also wire in another socket directly to you cars battery neg terminal with an inline fuse and a switch and the other lead to an earth. It will mean finding somewhere to mount it, such as under the dash or in the centre console or centre storage/glove box.Halfords sell all the bits, though some car manufacturers sell a dedicated kit.

Or buy one of those extension leads in earlier posts, cut off the plug and wire in to your battery directly. I wouls still prefer to add an inline fuse holder and a switch!

So i need extra length to fit my socket. ..They do say women are never satisfied...

You could always buy an extension with a shorter socket to see if that helps...

I also got a car transmitter for my iPhone - and the Technet fitted the bill nicely for me, in case someone wanted a product like that.
